The Inspectorate SZW started on 1 January 2012

Inspectorate SZW combines the organisations and the activities of the former Labour Inspectorate, the Work and Income Inspectorate and the Social and Intelligence Investigation Service of the Ministry of Social Affairs and Employment.
Some of the publications on this website still carry the name and characteristics of or refer to the former Labour Inspectorate. However, the content of these publications is still relevant.The brochures will be revised in time.

• Physical load on dock workers (pdf document | 1185 kB)
  "Lighten the Load" was the motto of the European campaign of Labour Inspectorates in the European member states in 2007. This inspection project, focused on reducing the physical load in the Dutch sea harbours was part of this.
